Ben Brust, a 6-2 guard from Mundelein, Ill., who had been recruited by Butler, announced he will accept a scholarship from Iowa. He will be a high school senior in 2009-10.
Iowa is coached by former Butler coach Todd Lickliter. Brust also considered Northwestern and Stanford. He averaged 27 ppg as a junior, but a broken ankle cut short his junior season.
