Judge John Miller (WHO)
Since getting his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1975, the 66-year-old Miller has held a number of positions as a lawyer and judge in the state. Before joining the Court of Appeals, he worked more than 18 years as a district court judge.
Gov. Chet Culver will fill the court opening, choosing from among three nominees submitted by the State Judicial Nominating Commission.
